See through dress

See through dresses are usually seriously sexy items for your wardrobe.  They offer glimpses of flesh with the promise of what might be underneath.  Far more mysterious and sexy than having everything on view, in my opinion.

Sheer sleeves offer some protection for older or larger folks who are self conscious about exposing too much above the elbow.  Also the thinner fabrics allow more ventilation too.

Sheer panels or indeed the whole body of the dress can be a little too much for the more conservative dresser but in the fetish or theatrical communities, they are highly regarded as additions to the exhibitionist’s costume.

See through skirts, on the other hand, either with bare legs or leggings under are increasingly popular because they are so forgiving.  On a personal note, I feel much more comfortable with a sexy long dress with a lacy, see through skirt if I wear black leggings underneath.  The Marine dress from Patrice Catanzaro is a good example of what I mean.  The skirt in this dress is tier upon tier of see through lace edged with black satin ribbon on alternate layers.  It is simply stunning.

Patrice has created several designs of see through dresses, some long, some short, some completely see through for example the Kali or some partly see through, the Dzenka.  The long ones are my favourites and the one I like best is the Ophelie which you can see from the picture that it would not look out of place on the red carpet at the Oscars.

High neck, long fitted sleeves and the tight bodice, all of which are totally see through apart from some perfectly placed rows of semi-see-through sequins.  The long laqué skirt, slit to the thigh completes this seriously sexy see through dress.
